The Royal Academy of Punjab proudly presents its annual flagship event, “Colours of Punjab,” a celebration of heritage, rhythm, and youth excellence. This vibrant showcase highlights the incredible talent of our young artists, dancers, and musicians who have trained year-round in traditional Punjabi folk arts including Bhangra, Giddha, Jhoomer, Luddi, Sammi, and Dhol drumming.
The evening brings together families, community leaders, and supporters to witness how cultural pride and teamwork transform into breathtaking stage performances. From powerful group routines to soulful folk singing and live instrumentals, each act reflects the Academy’s mission to “Discover a World of Punjabi Culture.”
More than just a performance, Colours of Punjab is a testament to mentorship, discipline, and youth empowerment. Every participant—from beginners to senior performers—takes the stage to represent their growth, confidence, and connection to their roots.
The event continues to grow each year, serving as a platform for young talent to shine while strengthening intergenerational ties and promoting Punjabi culture across Canada.
