
The Royal Academy of Punjab Society is proud to announce that registration is now open for British Columbia's first Ministry-approved Punjabi Folk Dance (Bhangra) External Credential Program.
This historic achievement makes the Royal Academy of Punjab Society the first and only organization in British Columbia, and the first professional Punjabi folk dance training and community organization in the world, approved to offer Punjabi Folk Dance (Bhangra) Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12 External Credentials for BC high school elective credit.
This groundbreaking program allows eligible BC high school students to earn recognized elective credits while receiving professional training in Punjabi Folk Dance (Bhangra).
For years, students have dedicated countless hours to learning Punjabi folk dance. Now, that dedication can also contribute toward their high school education.

It reflects years of dedication, advocacy, and hard work to ensure Punjabi folk arts receive the recognition they deserve.
